Can a bottom-moored echosounder array provide a survey-comparable index of abundance?

After 3 years of work, our first manuscript using the wideband autonomous echosounder moorings is now available for online access.  This work in the Gulf of Alaska is the foundation for our mooring project in the Arctic, and the work we have been putting into using these echosounders has opened up other possibilities for deployments.
